Instructions for Use:
- Prepare Your Pen
- Read the label to check that your pen contains Cartalax (Ala-Glu-Asp).

- Attach the Needle (6 Needles Supplied)
- Tear off the paper tab from the needle pack.
- Push and turn the needle onto the pen until it is tight.
- Pull off both needle caps.
- Check the Cartalax Prefilled Pen Flow with Each New Pen
- Turn the dose selector to the recommended dose.
- Push gently to check if the liquid is exiting the needle. If not, repeat the process until a drop appears.
- Selected Dosages:
- Low Dose 0.5 mg dosage requires approximately 6 clicks – Provides 40 dosages.
- Moderate Dose 1 mg dosage requires approximately 12 clicks – Provides 20 dosages.
- High Dose 2 mg dosage requires approximately 24 clicks – Provides 10 dosages.

- Inject Your Dose
- Insert the needle into your skin at a 90-degree angle.
- Press SLOWLY and hold down the dose button until the dose counter returns to 0. (Cartalax) must be injected VERY SLOWLY as it can create a burning sensation under the skin.
- After the counter reaches 0, slowly count to 6 to ensure the full dose is administered.
- Remove the needle from your skin.
- After Your Injection
- Carefully remove the needle from the pen and dispose of it in a sharps container.
- Put the pen cap back on the pen to protect it for future use.
